Candle Lit Carols and Lantern Parade

Our wonderful Winter Lights Lantern Parade and Candle-Lit Carols around the Christmas tree will take place on Tuesday 23rd December this year.

The Parade will being from The Kings Arms at 6.30pm, gathering from 6pm and the candle lit carols will begin around the Christmas Tree on The Parade Gardens just after 7pm.

The lantern parade will process down Fore Street, to The Parade. There will be a road closure. If you are watching the parade and then joining us for our community sing along, make sure you collect a song sheet and light your candles, these will be free and provided on the evening.

Lantern making workshops will take place in The Church Rooms on Sunday 14th December 10am to 2pm and Saturday 20th December between 10am and 2pm. The workshops are free but if you are feeling generous we ask for a donation of £5 per lantern to put toward the costs of the lightss materials and hiring the hall etc.

The Lostwithiel Outdoor Stage has been funded the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. (EAFDA). With EAFDA support we have been able to procure an outstanding new outdoor events infrastructure that will support and develop the many cultural events that Lostwithiel Town continues to programme and host.
